This time, the goals were simple:

  • Remove most of the stock wiring harness plugs, all stock relays, and all fuses
  • Incorporate Motogadget mo.unit blue to control ignition, starting, lights, horn, and other functionality
  • Replace remaining stock relays with the MSD solid-state relay block
  • Route all the wiring correctly
    • Front-to-rear wiring attached to transaxle ladder and transmission
    • Driver's side wiring (lights, fan) routed through the firewall near the pedals
    • Passenger side wiring (main engine harness, lights) routed through a custom notch cut into the Exocet aluminum passenger footwell kick plate
